When you were a student in the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences, you were part of a special family of students, faculty, and staff. That family helped you enjoy a successful college career. In 1967 the college formed the AG ALUMNI SOCIETY providing you with an extended family that reached beyond your student years. As an alum of the College of Agricultural Sciences, you belong to a special group of more than 26,000. Ag Alumni Society Raises $15,635 for Student and Alumni Programming

On November 22, 2008 the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences Alumni Society raised $15,635 at Ag Live ’08, prior to the Penn State vs. Michigan State football game. The money raised directly benefits the Ag Alumni Society’s scholarships, internship awards, and other student and alumni programs. More than 600 Ag alumni, friends and students celebrated at the Snider Ag Arena with the Penn State pep band and cheerleaders. Alumni generously sponsored 30 students to attend the event and showcase their student clubs. The Ag Alumni Society once again featured a live auction and raffe with valuable items and packages including two Penn State football weekend packages, a Penn State Football signed by legendary football head coach Joe Paterno, Bed and Breakfast packages, season football parking passes for the Ag Arena, and autographed memorabilia from several Penn State intercollegiate athletic teams.  

Fall 2008 Graduation Brunch – December 20, 2008

The College of Agricultural Sciences Alumni Society invites all graduates of the College and their guests to a brunch in Gym I of the Intramural Building immediately following commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 20, 2008.  An informal buffet brunch makes the occasion a friendly alternative to crowded town restaurants and makes the day even more special for our college’s grads!   Each graduate who attends the brunch will receive a gift from the Alumni Society.  The Alumni Society will provide you and two guests with complimentary tickets to this event.  You may purchase additional tickets for $12 each.  All tickets must be reserved in advance.
