2004 Outstanding Senior Award
This award is sponsored by the Ag Alumni Society with the Coaly Agricultural Student Honor Society's involvement in the recruitment and selection process. Selection for this prestigious award is based on nominees' academic achievement, their leadership in college clubs and organizations, an application essay, a personal interview with the selection committee, and an evaluation of their contributions to the University and community.
Jay Hreiz
B.S., Animal Bioscience
In addition to earning excellent grades, Jay was a member of the Pre-Vet Club, serving as president, a member of the Penn State Marching Blue Band, and was elected as the national vice president of the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association. He also held membership in the Coaly Honor Society. Following graduation, Jay planned to attend veterinary school.
