About the Society
As a student of the College of Agricultural Sciences, you were part of a special family of students, faculty, and staff. That family helped you enjoy a successful college career. When the college formed the Agricultural Sciences Alumni Society in 1967, it provided you with an extended family that reached beyond your student years. As an alum of the College of Agricultural Sciences, you belong to a special group of more than 26,000.
Alumni who graduated from the College of Agricultural Sciences become members of the Ag Alumni Society automactically by joining the Penn State Alumni Association. Today, the Ag Alumni Society membership of 8,500 plays a vital role in supporting one of the nation's largest and most comprehensive colleges of agricultural sciences. The top priorities for the Ag Alumni Society include student recruitment and engagement, student scholarships and internships, mentoring and career assistace, volunteer advocacy, alumni and student networking, and recognizing excellence by students, faculty, and alumni.
